    Merry Meet! My name is Aveline. I am 20 years old, and I am a student at the University of Washington. I am in a very serious long-term relationship, so don't get your hopes up ... my heart's taken! I have been drawing as a hobby for as long as I can remember, one I desperately wished to hone, and now I'm starting to take it seriously and I wish to pursue art as a career. That being said, I have a lot of work ahead of me, and I welcome any constructive criticism that can be given. I would really appreciate any advice received (you know, sutff like 'Her hair is allright, but the expression's a little off ... extending her lower lip more would make her look more irritated.'). Everything on here is extremely old. I've been very busy lately, but hopefully I'll have time to make some big changes here soon. I have AIM (RainWolf25), but if you choose to message me, please identify yourself. Like 'Hi, I saw your stuff on Elfwood,' just so I know who's talking to me. :) Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my gallery.     Hiya! Very nice work, you definitely have a style of your own, I like personally those draws from the fairy and the catwoman, they are really cute, I would work on some more depth of the bodies tough, maybe some shadows could serve as a texture to the arms and chest. All in all, very nice work, you are on your way to become a great artisan, meaning by that those who can create magic from nothing and give them shape. That magic is buried within you that is for sure.

    Aveline, first off, welcome to Elfwood. Secondly, well, since you have the talent and desire, I would recommend a book by Lee Hammond called "How to draw lifelike portraits from photographs". It has many tips for drawing faces and certain parts of the human anatomy. I am certain that you would dominate something like that in no time at all.
