SciFi and Fantasy Art: Early Catgirl Faces

This picture shows a couple of my early attempts at anthropomorphic drawing. The catgirl on the left was done with less of an anime style. More along the lines of some of the beast-headed deities of Egypt I suppose. The one on the right was an early start into anime. You can see it's kind of crude, but when I first rendered it, I decided there was hope for me yet along the anime path. Not that I plan to become a full-on anime art fanboy or anything. I just like exploring and experimenting with different styles of art. I figure somewhere along the way, my own style will gel. These were done in pencil and traced over with black felt-tip. Photoshop was used for minor cleanup and sizing the image
