SciFi and Fantasy Art: Falcon Symbol

This was more of a drafting exercise than an actual drawing. I was fooling around with putting designs in different geometric shapes and seeing what I could come up with. This one turned out rather well, I think. Done on 100 lb. cardstock with black marker. Image was cleaned up and background color added in Photoshop.

Good image, i was looking for symbols to carve onto pottery pieces found in a near by tobacco field. Going for the native american indian look.

I think it would be better if the bend in the wings was more curved, but I suppose that depends what you want from it. I like the tail.
