SciFi and Fantasy Art: Feathered Serpent

This is a picture I did to get myself into working with color again. Unfortunately, my markers were limited in their color spectrum and I thought the transitions on some of the colors were a bit sudden. I added the clouds in Photoshop by using the 'Render' filter. Not a bad effect though. Original picture done with nib pen and ink and colored with markers on cardstock.

23 Jun 2001	Arianna_Moonshadow	Loading... does the first comment dance, though, as always, stops abruptly as she is spotted, grinning sheepishly for a moment before looking about nervously ahh..what a nice day..she clears her throat Anywho...I absolutely love this picture. I think the coloring it great, despite your limitation of markers. I don't find any of the transition coloring is terribly noticeable (<--?) and I think the color blend together nicely. The picture, itself, it great. The snake and wings fit perfectly together..excellent..keep it up
