SciFi and Fantasy Art: Ciara, the Dragon Hunter

Ciara hunts dragons--not for any worthy cause like revenge or such, but instead... she hunts them because where she's from, their scales will get a pretty high price. The shirt she's wearing is supposed to be made from dragon scales (figured I'd point that out, since I doubt you could tell otherwise)--and I know her face is a little off... *sniffle*. The smaller woman in the corner--the one that's looking rather lost--is supposed to represent her guilt for killing such beautiful creatures for such a commercial cause.

Oooooo! Ooo Ooo Ooo! I'm making monkey-noises, this is so good! The shirt is really cool. Was it a little dragon? they're little scales. The figure in the bg (or floating on her shoulder, not clear which) is great, the pose is perfect. She's obviously got some guilt issues. And that face, Ciara's face... She is definitely a dragon hunter. And dragon hunter could have no other face.Thank sooo much! I've never made anyone make monkey noises before! Yeah, it was a wee little dragon--but not a baby, because she's not *that* heartless.

Anyone else (who knows what I'm talking about) think this could be Sam later in her career (Re: Rachel = young Sam), definitely would explain Jason's instant obsession. 2 Yeah, I'm obsessed.

*Walks calmly up to Jolie and thwaps her* Her name is Ciara, Jolie, not Sam. *Not* Sam. You have issues! 2 I can see it though, so I won't send you to an insane asylum today. Tomorrow maybe. Yeah, tomorrow.

Actually her face looks fine to me. In fact, she looks familiar somehow....I wouldn't have known that those were dragonscales in her armor if you hadn't said, but it's still a pretty nifty armor design either way.

I love your work it looks sooo real. But i have to admit i thought the lil person in the corner of this pic was a guy.

Wow. This is really nice. The drawing of Ciara in the back really reflects her guilt. She has a look that seems to make her look emotionless, yet is still able to feel common emotion. At least, that's what I feel.

Actually, this pictures face is fine. The nose is drawn well. Can't say the same for some of your other drawings here though. Your anatomy is good, and the faces are admirable, but the detail can be tough. You seem to have some touble with noses [some of them looked squashed on the face]
Anyway, nice job with the shading on this one and the face once again.
