Only the most skilled of the sacred dancers can produce a special sound from moving the blades in the right formation. The tone is rumored to amplify magic abilities and is used mostly for meditative purposes. However, in the hands of a rogue priestess seeking retribution from her ex-lover it could only mean big trouble.
*I had fun drawing the interesting pose and I like how it has an almost stylized feel. The skirt has a sense of movement that is usually hard for me to render. Yeah me!
oh! I love the hemline.. I would SO love to bee an dancer, but don't think anyone would wan't me to be his partner.. *sigh* Barbara J. Wickham replies: "Dearest Sonja, dance should be an expression of joy & passion. There's no need to wait for a partner. Just start dancing and you'll see that soon others will join in the enchantment you began. So, go get yourself a fabulous skirt with a fancy-flowing fringe and dance away! *hugs*"
Dance of blace is a atak in the inuyasha show, kagira uses it with her fan Barbara J. Wickham replies: "I've only seen a few episodes of Inuyasha but I love it and hope to catch more over time. I can picture the character you mention. Doesn't she ride a feather? Either way, great show, great comment. Thank you!"
dance of the blades is an atak on the show inuyasha.kagura uses it!
yes she does fly on a feather, shes naraku's incarnation! wanna know a secret? even tho kagura was first to be seen, kanna was first TO BE MADE. kanna was an expiriment to see if he could do it, he did but it turned out as a child like demon, the second one, kagura turned out to be stronger in some ways and a adult like demon! then goshinki, kageomaru and jeromaru, hakudoshi(can only seee in ep 120 121) kohaku isnt a incarnation, he just took over his soul and put a shard in his back to controolll him, hes sango'd brother.
yes, i know alot bout inuyasha, iv only misssed 1 episode, secret of the sacred jewl maker part 2...for the pic, i like how the dress looks like its twriling! Barbara J. Wickham replies: "Wow! Thank you. Now I will be able to tell who's who when I catch the odd episode. Thanks, also for the comment. The skirt is my favorite part."
InuYasha...don't have the patience to stay up that late... But when i do, yeah, the odd episode...With...120 episodes!?!? And how many after that!? Jeez...(sweat)...anywho,(tries to dance and falls on butt) Bah...I'll try again later...this is really cool. I like how she holds the daggers perfectly, even tho shes twirling around Barbara J. Wickham replies: "Oh those daggers were so fun to draw like that. I usually struggle to get good expression in the hands but the daggers seemed to help me do that in this pic. Weird, huh?
I don't get to see Inuyasha much either. I'm into other shows now like Family Guy and Robot Chicken and Miami Ink. Thank god for DVR or I wouldn't get to see any good shows. That's what I get for working nights! Oh well..."
She seems so calm when she does it! I would be scared to even hold those in such pin-point-precition positions (try saying THAT ten times fast) if I were standing still! I suppose she gets a lot of practice in... Barbara J. Wickham replies: "Thank you, kind sir! I really like how the action turned out in this one. It actually started out as a more stylized version but became a little more "realistic" as it progressed. I kinda like the effect."
hey Barbara! You probably won't remember me but I was the silly little girl who used to comment on your pics. I've checked out all the latest ones and you still inspire me even though I don't really have the arty hand. -x- Barbara J. Wickham replies: "Hi Naomi! I totally remember you! You always left such nice comments. Thank you for coming for another visit and I'm very happy that my new stuff is to your liking. "
nice pen work! I want to dance along with her....after she puts the knives away of course! I like her feet the most. Barbara J. Wickham replies: "Just call her 'twinkle toes'! *lol* I'm sure she wouldn't mind a dancing partner, but it would be a good idea to stay out of range. Yup!
I love the little tassels on her slippers and I'm glad I added them. Makes her feet seem more kinetic.
Ha ha ha ha! *Hut sends Kitsch to retrieve the dagger from the bottom of her elfwood-stolen-goods cache* Sorry. So far the robotic possum is one of a kind. If I ever master A.I., I’ll let you know.
*Kitsch returns, uses his extendable whiskers to pull the dagger from the magic compartment in his back, and hands...er...whiskers(?) it to the lovely dancer* Barbara J. Wickham replies: "Ah well. It was worth a try.
*gives Kitsch a buff ’n polish*
Rummaging in the elfwood-stolen-goods-cache got him a bit grimy."
