SciFi and Fantasy Art: Year of the Dragon

Okay, so it's a bit on the late side.. I got abducted by folks forcing me to go out, and so was unable to upload this pic in time fer the Chinese New Year. Oops. Also, the character in the background means 'Dragon', just in case that wasn't clear. The poem that follows is now a part of public domain, and is one of a series of a dozen originally written about each member of the CHinese zodiac.
First try at an oriental-style dragon..

I am an unquenchable fire,
The center of all energy,
The stout heroic heart.
I am truth and light,
I hold power and glory in my sway.
My presence
Disperses dark clouds.
I have been chosen
To tame the Fates...
