SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Pregnant Mermaid

I got this notion after looking through a book of tatoos and seeing a very interesting pose with a woman who looked quite shy. She wasn't pregnant, but I embellished that. As well as the hair... and the scales... and the green skin... ok, so I only copied the pose. But I liked my Prismas! And I thought she came out with the kind of tender beauty that a realy pregnant woman should have. ^_^

I had to comment on this picture because I love Mermaids (obviously)and I was really excited when I saw this picture because you even gave her the right colors. Because if you read any reports on mermaids those are the correct colors. (I have a lot of spare time)Great picture! It's beautiful...as always.

19 Sep 2003	Pippa Carter	Loading... She is beautiful - she looks a little sad to me though ( Cheer up mermaid! Maybe she's sad because it must be excruciatingly painful/impossible to give birth when you are a mermaid?
