SciFi and Fantasy Art: Calling the Wind

Mostly just a sketch of my latest lupogriff form for Stormy, my alt. I was trying a different, more simple style for the wings - a more anime-like style than realistic. The paws need a little work, but it looks ok to me.

Actually, this is quite beautiful. The style matches that delicacy you seem to convey in your work. The hands aren't bad at all, either. Well defined and seeming all a gryph's talon's should---female moreso than male. However, I'll admit that this was my daughter's pick (curled those fingers RIGHT into the 'gimmee mode' for it). Can't wait for her new sib to be born and pick THEIR fav artwork...my offspring has SUCH good taste...!

Nice, very very nice. Take the time to ink it, seriously. Amazing work! Keep it up!

This one's pretty good Stormy. The paws and such look fine, but I noticed that the head is a bit out of proportion with the rest of the body.

I like the way you captured motion here! I also like the way you drew her head... something about it strikes me.
Nice wings ^^

The head's not too out of proportion considering that this is a BIRD head and a bird's head usually does seem a bit smaller than its body.... but yeah, now that I look at it a little more it could be just a wee bit off.
Congradulations to the beautiful thickness you gave the wings! The fold of the left wing looks a little undefined like you weren't sure whether or not you were doing it perfectly and you didn't want anybody to notice it. BE BOLD!!! I would love to be able to see your pictures better and see how full and powerful they could be with some darker more defined shading....Well..I should practice what I preach but that's besides the point...2~ I love all that you've done so keep up the good work!!!!!

If u ink this i think it could be one of the best pictures that i've commented on. I luv the way he appears to be holding the wind in his paws.

Sweet...Here's a thought, why not have something like a cervigriff (a deergriff) or something?
