SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sketch 7

I got a Wacon tablet and have no idea how to use it, so you can laugh with me at these. I took some of the pencil sketches and started airbrushing them with the tablet in Corel PhotoPaint...no masks, no layers, just spreading color trying to get the hang of painting with pixels. I'm starting to see the importance of layers, but I didn't have the time to learn how to manage them....My son's idea with the dreadlocks, and I screwed up the hand.....I really should learn more of the tools on this program, if I'm going to use it...Hope you enjoyed my latest scrap pile, sorry I don't have time to finish anything...too much to learn....:)

16 Mar 2000	Heini Hätinen	Loading... oh,yes... very good. i don't know if someone has already said this, but it's a bit "confusing" when part of the picture is really detailed and sharp, and a part of the coloring is fuzzy...( yeah, i'm too lazy to read all the comments and the decription of the pic, but who can blame me, it's 8pm and i just came home grins) i really like the idea in this one... the eye is indeed the sould of this picture smiles i think you could sharpen the tip of his nose, though... it kind of melts to the rest of the nose and makes the nose generally look a bit odd.
