SciFi and Fantasy Art: Clear Younging Detail

This is the detail of the winged thingie with the wierd tail someone asked to see.....sorry it's kinda blury, his whole body is less than an inch high.....somebody find my glasses.... Updated: replaced the blurry one with this one, sorry it took so long, wanted to try out my new scanner....pretty good, eh. This is about 2.5 times the original....

Its better then I can draw and it is truly a peice of art but the face seems kinda flat to me and unrealistic and though it is drawn well I personaly, because I am picky on this matter, don't like the dragon, but I love the hair, but pay me no heed I'm just jealous or something.
