SciFi and Fantasy Art: Tree Singer

Due to my recent obession with barn owls (they're adorable, okay? I can't help it!), I got it in my head to create an anthro hippogryph character using said barn owls and a generic horse (later changed to kiger mustang). This is just the base coating overtop of the original sketch (which is why you see some lines). Later though, I completely redesigned Tree Singer and made her human instead as she's going to be used in a future animation project. So this is probably the rare and possible only drawing I'll ever have of her in this form.

14 Jan 2008	Michael pixie john	Loading... what a hoot ! a barn owl ... very well drawn and coloured , shes a great character she seems to have a haughty pose , bit like a catwalk model she has wings , and arms too , brill ! lovely work with her arms and legs , a bit human and a bit birdie best thing though is her outfit , looks kind of showgirl and burlesque she would make a fabulous film character
