| 29 Jun 1999 | Lyndell Stout | Nice teeth. Have you ever used charcoal pencils? I use them all the time, they give you more control over the medium and helps to minimize the charcoal dust and smudging. Of course you do loose some of the dramatic shading that true charcoal offers. I was just wondering. | |
| 7 Dec 1999 | Elizabeth A. Stoy | Whoah. Just... whoah. My halfhearted attempts at conte have never come up with anything near as nicely done as this, and as for charcoal... I'll definitely have to visit the eye. | |
| 3 Aug 2000 | Lucas Mercer | *laughs* thats assuming all dragons are mean. Then again.... nah. I wouldn't worry. Most dragons don't like the taste of human flesh anyway Nice though... looks just deadly enough. | |
| 11 Feb 2001 | Diasis | An excelent picture, i like the detail of the fang.
You can really see the veins
As you can probably tell i love Dragons | |
| 10 Sep 2001 | Brandy | Great piece. If you're looking for other aspects of ddragon anatomy and the mechanics of dragon-flight, Peter Dickinson's "Flight of Dragons" is a wonderful read, and it's full of inspirational pieces (one of which an elfwood artist copied and tried to pass as her own. i put an end to that nonsense.) and paintings to get the juices going. | |
| 2 Jan 2002 | CronoCat <CronoCat@hot...com> | This is a great start. I like this picture, although, (tell me if I'm stupid,) I'm not really sure were on\in a dragon's mouth this is. If you ever get around to it, try to get a bit more of the dragon in there, but nice anyway! | |
| 27 Jul 2002 | Velcro | I haven't seena flaw in any of your dragon related pics yet...keep up the good work!!! | |
| 23 Jan 2003 | MoodyLonghair | So thats the last thing my poor Dwarf saw | |
| 25 Jun 2003 | Christina 'C.J.' DeCamp | Oooo, coolness. I think the only real improvement here could be to get rid of the white space. Fill it all in black, and maybe use a white charcoal pencil to really make them glint. Great picture though. | |
| 28 Apr 2004 | LanFear | neat-o! this is great. reminds me that I should work more on my dragon bodies and try to get them from different angles, not always from the side...but, it's so damn hard! anywhoo, this is great! and, did anyone realize that Too Close For Comfort is the name of Darren Hayes' most recent world tour? just felt for metioning that. *gives cookie* | |
