SciFi and Fantasy Art: Fire

A personal experience. Done completely from scratch in Photoshop, taking less time than the usual process of rough sketch -> inking -> scanning -> computer clean up -> masking -> layering -> colouring. Not counting the time for sketching out the idea, it took 3 days to finish.
