| 20 Mar 2002 | Katerina Borovikov | Very nice WOT art!!! =D Love your Sea Folk chick ^.^ | |
| 26 Mar 2002 | M. Royce | Excellent art!, But I have a question.. you seem to do this on all your realistic drawings: you shade heavily underneath the chin (i think you only do it w/profiles) and it makes it look like there is a big dent in the neck... it is really hard to explain...it seems like you are just trying to shade to distinguish b/t the chin and neck but it creates and extra peice that doesnt belong. I hope you can understand.. otherwis, All your art is awsome! | |
| 8 May 2002 | Audrina | I have some critique... hope you don't take it the wrong way. It's just that all your pictures look like they've been drawn by different people, there's no personality. You have some real talent for drawing... why not use it to try and find your own style instead of borrowing off everyone and everything else? Maybe practice on live models or still life (not pictures)? I think you could be great. | |
| 30 Jun 2002 | The Lurker | If you like fantasy(things like elves, fairies, mages, theives, kender, dragons, d&d,dragonlance, and such) then you should go to The LostHavens. It's a roleplaying site where you can make your own characters and role play with other fantasy lovers such as yourself! It's new and new role players would be great! Hope to RP with you soon!! Click on the name..yes. ~The Lurker...heh | |
| 12 Jul 2002 | Bobbi Downs | Note to Audrina - Thanks for the input. As for my style or in your opinion, lack there of, I have too many different styles and It depends on my mood and I wanted to show that on my page. For example I am working on stainglass like designs at the moment. Also all of this artwork is from about 4-8 years ago. Lost all my Elfwood info and can't change anything. I have very much evolved as an artist and yet my style often changes. As for live models, I am open if you would like to pose for free. | |
| 31 May 2003 | Skip Nodler <skipn@mos...com> | Nice work and nice to see an Alaskan in these woods. Maybe someday I'll put mine in here and see what happens. If you're ever in Fairbanks stop by the College Coffeehouse on Wednesdays and Saturdays. There's ussually somebody doing some art work while I'm picking and singing. If Jonathan is there it's a real treat to see his art. He's been my mentor. Please come visit my web page and look at my art if you have time.

Not too far down that page is the link to my portrait and fantasy pages. Keep drawing. Art is like music, the more you do the better you get. Skip Nodler | |
| 17 Apr 2006 | Jacquie Nelson | Hello there! My name is Jacquie and awhile ago I found your Elfwood account and fell in love with the Woodland Nymph drawing that is there (the less realistic of the two). I've been making costumes for almost a decade and I every year I go to The Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade in Hollywood, CA. This year's masquerade is in July and I have my heart set on bringing your little sprite to life. This email is to see if this ok with you, and to see if you would like me to send you pictures of the finished piece. Thank you for your time,
Jacquie Nelson | |
| 8 Jul 2006 | Anonymous | How do you expect to become an accomplished artist when all you can do is copy other people's work?
