SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Sea Monster's Treasure

This was supposed to be the title picture for a story I wrote in 3rd grade. Maybe I shouldn't have written it in English, a very foreign language to me at that time - I never finished the 2nd sentence. :) Today I am not  much further, I have quite a few stories unfinished and even less illustrated. But it's also hard to find your way to something... other than standard fantasy (which this picture is definately from). It's hard to find something that our world really needs to hear... and than pack it into a story.
