SciFi and Fantasy Art: Initation to the L.E.L.

L.E.L. stands for the Large Endowment League...and while there IS a part of this League that's for the men folk (Aiden would be there), showing the initiation for THAT would be very...wrong. So. Yes. It's my character, Winnow, and Benny's character Prism...goin' at it. With Pillows.

Wah-Hoo! I beat Benny to the first comment!

Whoa, sweet picture. As far as formation goes her left upper arm and left shin bother me. The shin seems to be twisted in an unrealistic fashion. This is what I meant before when I said you were styleized enough I can't really critisize, because you could have meant the shin to look like that and because it's cartoony it would be okay.
The arm however I can point out what is wrong. The shading for her armpit is too far back. Her palm is facing the centerline of her body, which would twist her shoulder so her armpit would be more toward us than back. Then her arm is bent, but this could be the same as the leg, just your style. -- now... on to the butter.

OMG, huge case of lust coming on. You've done an excellent job with miss Prism and Winnow is gorgeous. Their poses are both difficult poses to pull off, kudos to you for accomplishing it. Also, I really like how you drew the folds in the cloth of the pillows where they are gripping them. I avoid drawing cloth for that. Those fold intimidate me. Beautiful job on the coloring as well, you are most definitely getting better at it. Keep it up! -- Okay, I'm going to click submit now and hope that nobody else has done so while I was typing you this novella.

:-) Caitly Andrews replies: "::Falls over:: Yes you got first comment, YAY! I'm glad you approve of my Prism-ness. I'll hafta re-read the comment a few times to see if I understand the anatomy comments, but thanks for the tips!"

Such a spiffy picture. I love the movement you captured in it...

Now...I want to see the men's version...

:-) Caitly Andrews replies: "I don't think it's appropriate...let's just say, fencing without the foils. "

Yay! I remember you showing this to me via Instant Message! I Shall say again, GREAT PEICE! 1 I love the colors of Prisma's hair and how you blended them together. ^^

:-) Caitly Andrews replies: "Her hair is WAY too fun to color!"

::caaackle:: Can I be in the LEL?

:-) Caitly Andrews replies: "Weeeell...the L.E.L. was originally Benny's creation, but I don't see why you can't!"

Wow! What a fun pic!

:-) Caitly Andrews replies: "A fun one to make, too! This is one of my favorites."
