| 21 Jun 2002 | seth | I need info on the race and or class of the serephim angel in the realm of adnd. Ps i like the pic too thanks alot you guys email me Brandy Snellgrove replies: "Umm.. Seraphim? I just called it that 'cause it had three sets of wings. But if anyone else wants to take a stab.." | |
| 24 Feb 2003 | Estrella | Seraphim are actually supposed to cover their heads with two wings, their feet with two wings, and fly with the other two.(Isaiah 6:2-6)
But a really good book to read that has Seraphim involved is Many Waters (by Madeleine L'engle)
KEWL drawing! | |
| 1 Aug 2003 | An Onymous | Kewl i drew a cat with 3 pair of wings... Okay nobody wanted to know that... Sorry, i'll go and leave you alone now, sorry Brandy Snellgrove replies: "I think the idea sounds cool. Is it up on elfwood somewhere?" | |
| 16 Jan 2004 | Anonymous | I love the picture. It looks like something from an artist whose work I've seen and admired, can't remember who exactly at the moment. Wish I could make something as beautiful on the computer, but I'm technologically challenged. BTW: Why does everyone think y'all is hick? It's just Southern. My relatives in Arkansas will think you're a Yankee if you say "you guys" instead of "y'all". | |
| 3 May 2004 | Iain the Theology Student | Just thought you might like to know, people often misunderstand the deal about the Seraphim's 6 wings. As my friend said in the post above, "2 cover their feet". That's not *quite* correct. (tee hee hee)
"Feet" is a Hebrew euphemism for... er... nether regions.
Another Elfwood artist, Matthew Brackney, has done a splendid job on a seraphim, you can see it here:

(it's a shame that the border on Matt's is so small, it's cooler when these guys *really* break out!)
Now you know that Moses's wife didn't really throw anything at Moses' FEET after all...
