SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dark Warrior Queen

I still like this pic, I know it was in my galery before, and yes, I know that the cloak is kinda floating in nothing, but I still love the armor...it's just so sweet...

Ill have to agree with you it is pretty sweet the only thing i see wrong is the sword tip. And maybe the functionality of her foot ware.

Who cares about function. the footware rox and what beauty/style/fashion/woteva without pain/discomfort.

More great work. I think the ankle needs another joint or two for functionality. I don't agree about the cape. If there is a slight wind, and the hair shows similar displacement. I have my own cape and it flares like that - as heavy as it is by just wearing it, or the air displacement when you walk. Her hair hides the way it is attached. The cape could be hooked to the joints of the armor at the back of her neck under her hair. I admire the way you have drawn her cape. Remember the cape is gathered. There would have to be much more material present than the untrained eye picks up on. We all know how a fully gathered skirt billows in the wind. Swoosh! AAAhhhh! As it blows up in your face.

Maybe she is getting sum kinda award, i think that look crossed my face when i recieved an honours cert. depends what the person is saying to ya when they hand it out but hey that might just be me and my bad attitude. But the footwear does look a little heavy.

I like the armor and weapon design, very realistic. I must agree with Vampyr, however, on the foot-pieces. Unfortunately, however, I must put in my two cents on the pose. To the artist: I love your concept, but you aren't a fighter, are you? Any warrior worth more than 10 seconds in a battle would never hold their weapon like that, unless recieving some sort of honour or award, and from the facial expression, I doubt that either of those is happening currently. Other than that, I like it.

sweeeeeet.... I love her stance its so... evil... in a subtle way. And to Clinton who commented above... the boots are functional, they just look a little like ski boots, which, if you've ever worn, are a little awkward at first but you get used to them, and you will NEVER lose your balance in shoes like that!
