SciFi and Fantasy Art: Doodles

Sometimes doodles are among the best of someone's work - you're relaxed and not asking too much of yourself, and yet what comes out tends to be better than the norm. In any case, my favourites on this page all seem to be on the left.. ^^ The furry er, thing is too cute for words, and I like the mermaid's uptilted face and posture. Last, but not least, is that yummy male torso(it is a male torso, isn't it? *worried look*) - very nicely drawn.. Yep, it's a male torso.The scan is a bit crappy but the furry thing you're talking about is actually looking quite mean....Doodles are fun to do.. but I hate it when the picture that I make from a doodle doesn't turn out the way I want. I mean, when the doodle looks better than the finished picture...

Oooh.. was the alien-lookin' thing on the right inspired by the High Ones? Very nicely done! (Sometimes, you just need to doodle. It has to come out.)Could be inspired by the highones, yes. I don't remember.
