SciFi and Fantasy Art: Merpeople disaster

So... perhaps this is a sequel to the 'merpeople'picture. My bf wanted to draw a standing figure, but mermaids don't stand. So he drew her hanging on a chain. I couldn't stay behind and drew my own little drama. Drawn with pencil and colored in photoshop6.0 with a tablet.

Nice rivits on that fine ship hull! I appreciate a good ship, with nice verdigris coloured water. The poor merpeople. The tinned tuna may be dolphin free, but is it mermaid free????? We need to know!Yes!! Be careful of the mermaids when fishing!! Poor merpeople... Though I think they would be smart enough to escape a net, a harpoon on the other hand is rather dificult...

I think that that is really kool tho a little sickening but i like the spear part coming thro and the other mermaid trying to get to it i think it is sort of like telling you a story its really good i like it!Thank you! Yes, it's a bit morbid. But that can be a good thing. 12
