SciFi and Fantasy Art: HighPriest

Sort of a high priest. My attempts at drawing a cleric with bludgeoning weapon and all. No, where I might be able to draw bladed weapons, I cant draw a hammer to save my soul from Baator. It isnt too bad though. Done on Xerox paper with a emchanical pencil.

Hi Bri. The hammer is my players weapon of choice, and is a hard weapon to use as well as draw. You need immense strength to force it to change directions so hammers tend to be used in a flowing manner. There are many considerations from a martial point of view. First: Hammer users often have retractable blades in the handle. Second: The head should be lightened without taking away it's strength. Third: A counter Balance on the other end of the shaft is useful. Fourth: The hammer should also have a jabbing spike as well as a poleaxe. Finally: In fighting moves the hammer is used as a counterweight for the fighter's body and can produce extremely rapid spins and somersaults when used well.
