SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dont ask me why

This picture came out right, and I like it, but I am not sure why. This weapon, which I called a sabre, but it really isnt, was something that popped its pretty head out of my paper when doddling one time. Nothing special here, thought I would share though.

22 Feb 2001	Michael	Loading... A wicked pic, but the proportions seem odd. The handle is too long, sabres are usually one-handed blades. The proportions seem more fitting as a dagger. I still wish I could draw as well as this, though, so don't get depressed!
