SciFi and Fantasy Art: When Last We Left Our Heroes...

This is our old adventuring party. Three PC fighters and an NPC mage. A composition like that should let you know the kind of trouble we were usually in ;) They are, from left to right: Thedrick the Barbarian, who spent some little time as both an intelligent sword and with green hair; Laeka the Elven Mage, with her wizard's hat and the infamous Wand of Wonder; Kayl the Half-Dragon Fighter, weilding Unending Death (man, I miss that sword); and Fubar Figtree, in his lich-crafted armor (never deal with a lich...we did, but it's ok, 'cause we killed him later). There have been other adventurers who accompanied us, including a slew of NPC clerics that never seemed to live past the first five minutes of the gaming session, but this is the core of the group. <04/04/08> While trying to upload a new pic, the extranet sent me a notice that this and several other pics were too large pixel-wise, and that I would have to adjust them. Retroactive pixelization...who knew? ;)

Don't you folks get tired of the same old uninspired characters of the 80's? Well, if the answer is no, I guess I'm glad you're enjoying it.Don't you folks get tired of the same old uninspired comments from people who are afraid to leave their real names? I guess the answer's no...glad you're having fun as well 2

I like the guy on the center right. He's cool. Our right or their right? The one to our center-right is my character Kayl MacLaren. I'm a bit fond of him myself 2

Aw she's all cute and teeny!Very small elfin mage. Also quite irritating in game terms, but that's another story 12 Thanks for the comment.

I notice that Kayl is wearing a glove on his left hand. That is to hide this scaled hand I saw on an other picture of your gallery right? I guess you can't be a half dragon for free...
An other great drawing in the wonderland of your gallery. That is in fact the case, and kudos to you for noticing 2 Thanks for the comment.

"Never deal with a Lich"... and this surprises you because... ? : D

Like the mage too.Two things surprised me about it...one, that we kept running into him, and two, that we killed him so easily. It's good to have lucky dice rolls sometimes 2

Woooot!! Wand of Wonder, my character has one of those and boy is it fun! Must use it some more... My character is chaotic by the way, and a good thing too. When the rod backfires she just thinks it makes things more 'interesting.'In all the time we played, I think I can think of exactly twice that the wand did something useful. "Interesting" is probably the most polite word for what happened the rest of the time! 12

This is fabulous! Beautiful shading and detail, and great anatomy. One little thing - Laeka's left foot looks just slightly off, as well as her upper left arm muscles. But that's very minor. Great job, keep it up!Hmmm...they seemed fine according to the reference I used, but you never know. Something to work on for next time. 2
