SciFi and Fantasy Art: Chris Rubenstahl's Caitlin!

While Chris has been doing a couple pics of characters for me and my wife, I've been doing a couple for him of his character Caitlin. He runs her in some kind of near-future sci-fi kind of game, which I can't remember the name of right now (cyberpunk, maybe?).  The first one I did I'm not sure I can upload to the 'Wood (pity, I think it turned out rather well), but this one should fit in just fine :) Her hair is longer than Chris usually draws it, but I think she looks ok for all that.

Hey, thats some really good anatomy! i like how curvy she is, and thicker. I get tired of all the stick women running around elfwood.Oddly enough, I don't remember getting a copy of this comment in e-mail..strange...Anyway, thanks for stopping by, glad you like it. I don't really seem to be able to do stick women for some reason...

Okay Thats it, You go to your room! your making me fall in love with the attitude of these pictures.. VERY great.. She has that "go ahead and try me" kind of look to her..They say that attitude is everything. Besides which, attitude and detail in a piece can help mask the mistakes a bit 12

Seeing as tho i'm Caitlin i thought i might add. 2 Beautiful pic and a stunning girl, but strangely enough she doesn't look like a Caitlin. 2 Oh, and i think her hand may be a tinsy bit big. But otherwise, exquisit. 2She has big hands because she's got bit, umm, feet. Or something. Thanks very much for stopping by. I'm curious, though...why doesn't she look like a Caitlin?

Cool picture. She has a very gothic appearance with her punky bob haircut (you added highlights, too)! The pose, the boots, and her expression make her look tough but the lines of her body are feminine. Really good work.

The only suggestion I might have is that you could draw a female character with small breasts too, since we're talking realistic figures here. By the way, why did you choose to call her Caitlin? Was there some inspiration there, like a muse or something? *smiles curiously*

:-) Brian Keith Cooke replies: "I could draw a character with small breasts, I think. In fact, I think I have a couple in this gallery. Characters, not breasts. The inspiration here was the original work regarding this character by Chris Reubenstahl. Everyone should check out his gallery."

I like the way you've drawn her. She is not as skinny like the rest of the artists draw women. I like it!!
