SciFi and Fantasy Art: Naillo Sculpt

This is the green of the Naillo miniature that I made for a friend. This mini was designed from the Naillo Chikas picture elsewhere in my gallery. He came in a bit tall (over 35mm), but I'm still trying to get control over sculpting in such a small size. From the green, we can now create a mold and cast the figure.

13 Aug 2004	Jess Freeman	Loading... Oh wow, now that's fun! Its neat to see someone do their own minatures, I had always wondered how/if anyone does.It's a process, but definitely a fun one. For those who are really curious, you can check out the 1listsculpting group on Yahoo.
8 Sep 2004	Anon.	Loading... I own a lot of GW miniatures and I can say that yours has a lot more details. I wish I could see it painted, I think it would help to get the face's features better, and, well I'm just curious .Made it for a friend of mine, and he should be making a mold from it soon. Once we get it cast, I'll see about painting one up and posting the pics.
27 Dec 2005	Elizabeth	Loading... YOU MADE THAT?!?! THAT'S FREAKIN ALSMOME!!! I've only taken two years of ceramics class at my art school. I enjoy it but not much. Ceramics is NOT my strong point in art. So anyway, how long did it take you to finnish that and how long does it take you to learn to do that?!
