SciFi and Fantasy Art: Caught in the Act

Well, not exactly caught IN the act so much as BEFORE the act. Started off as a female body study that I was fairly pleased with, then I added the costume and background.

It amazes me no one has commented on this image yet. I really like the way you've got the motion going, here, Brian, as well as the (to be expected from you) detail on the background and the figure herself. You're really getting much much better with the female form. I like it. 2Not too happy with all the stonework, myself. Yet another instance of the background suffering because the original piece was a doodle that I decided to expand on. Thanks, though.

I like her hair. Not carried away with her right hand, but all in all, a very good picture. I usually check your site every day, but missed a few days and just now saw this one.Well, we all miss days. Sometimes I miss years. I like the hand, but I may be the only one.

I really love the background, and her top. And she really does look as if she has just gotten caught, which is great cuz some people just put titles up that don't go w/ the image. ^_^Thanks. Sometimes I put titles that amuse me on pieces, or which have meaning only to me outside the scope of the piece. Got a few like that in this gallery, as a matter of fact. There's always some relation, even if it isn't obvious.

"What? Little ol' me?" "Why, I wasn't doing anything, sir guard. Just strolling along..."

I believe this is a very finely executed idea. Excellent work. Thanks much. She turned out pretty well for just being a body study to begin with, I think.

Personnaly, I like her. She makes me think of a cross between Xena & Gabriel from tv. I love her top, but I'd kind of like to see her with longer hair. Of course in her chosen profession, I think the style fits her. Very nice detail on both the character & her surroundings! Thanks for sharing her with us. You da man! Thanks. And you're welcome 2 I don't know about the top, though, they might not have one in your size. Oh, you meant you liked it on HER...I get it. 12

Alot of great shading in this one Brian. I particularly like the background the most!
