SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dragon Tracks!

“Long, long, ago,” the elderly bunny said, as he drew his grandchildren near, “ before recorded time, we weren’t the small peaceful creatures we are now. We were fearsome warriors. Great hunters of the mighty terrestrial dragon we were. The wolf and the coyote would stand aside as we passed. The fox hid in their dens when we approached. Our only enemy was the Flyers, great dragons who owned the sky. They longed to catch our people, and so we had to be diligent as we hunted.”

The thought of tribal bunnies just amuses the hell out of me. The idea started from my previous dragon eating bunnies, and kinda fleshed out during life drawing class one day when I should have been drawing naked people. I have another image like this one on it's way. This image is quite large, and so got squashed a bit in compression. I'm going to upload details on the bunnies.

I watched this evolve from the very beginning, where the guy standing up looked more like a pooch than a bunny. 12 VERY nicely done, Brieal... putting it into color really made it stand out fully. Me likes!!! 1

Tribal bunnies?? Oh my. *snorts with laughter* I love the colors here. And the idea of tribal bunnies is great! Too cool. Hey, if you are amused by that kind of thinking, have you ever read any of Brian Jacque's "Redwall" series? His bunnies speak with an English accent and love to eat. Not to mention they're also wicked fighters when necessary. Love this drawing. It's awesome! 19)
