| 30 Aug 1999 | Daniel Routhier | Well, duh.. look on top ! | |
| 30 Aug 1999 | taneesha | hi, I really like your drawing. I'd really like to know what the writing on the side and corner mean. | |
| 9 Sep 1999 | Henry Chan | Ah! "Te," the basic of a gentleman! Since you used Tao Te Ching, I'll guess that he is a Chinese. Great concept! I just want to comment on some of the elements: that dress is button on the other side. In ancient China, only barbarians button to their left. The original Han people (Chinese people) button to their right. If you want to add a "tail," then I guess he's Manchurian. They usually shave all the hair on the frontal-half of their head, and leave the back-half. The back-half hair will be tighten into a tail...They button on the center and/or right, but after they conquered China (for about 250 years), they button to their right side, like Han people did because that seems more "civilized." Just thought that you might want to know that. And, keep up with the designs! | |
| 21 Oct 1999 | Hieu Truong | Ooooh.. not only do we get to look at a picture, we also get to learn stuff! Anywho(^_^) I like the background.. the only thing that bothers me about this pic is that I think the eyes look a bit.. well.. weird. But that's just me.. | |
| 17 Mar 2000 | Saant iemm | I think there is something off about the left arm... it crooks to far out. even with foreshortening the segment between the elbow and shoulder is too long and from the elbow to wrist too short. | |
| 14 Apr 2000 | Cristina Angeles Ubay (Amberwing) | Hey! The left arm's OK. I think you saw the sleeve as part of the arm. However, they're right. There is something weird about the eye. Reminds me of the Ancient Eqyptian way of heiroglyphs. Side facing heads and big emphasized eyes. | |
| 21 Mar 2001 | Daniel B. Taylor | Very well done, everything pulls together to form a well-composed picture. The 'Te' and the writing just adds to the entire feel of it.. and the man has very good form, and his clothes flow very well showing his motion. | |
