| 15 Feb 2004 | Athena | I think they are gorgeous! Keep up the great work and disregard all who disagree. ^___^
P.S. I would happily join with wonder_dog... >.><.<
| 15 Feb 2004 | Wonder_dog | One more thing... marty, if you EVER comment on another piccy like that me and my friends will come and whack you with squeaky-hammers for all ETERNITY!!! XD | |
| 15 Feb 2004 | Pantalaimon | I wish I could do shading like that--they're SO cute!!! | |
| 16 Feb 2004 | Myrror | *pokes Marty* The reason she draws so much of the "same picture" is because most of them are from a cyberadoption agency that she runs---as mentioned in many of her descriptions.
And "not realism" does not equal "anime", as anime is japanese animation, and not always 'cute', either.
| 16 Feb 2004 | Marty | join wonder dog for all i care. E mail me for all i care. i didnt RANDOMLY flame you. i chose to do it cause im tired of rudimentary drawings on this site. im tired of people who draw one million of the same picture... there all different and have differend abilities and are sort of like pokemon, the most annoying show divised. anime is not cute ist realy annoying and ive seen that unfinished hand picture you did. it was shaded and marvelous. you could draw so much better. sorry. Lindsay 'Skysong' Broadway replies: "So, 'marty,' do you have some drawings of your own that you would like to share with me? To show me how art 'should' be?Why must all art by realistic? The first drawings were little more than cartoons, after all. Would you have us forget our roots?" | |
| 16 Feb 2004 | marty | See how brave i am now. And sorry again for all my flaming of your little pokemom. | |
| 27 Feb 2004 | Amanda (Chrissie) Render | Your dragonets are amazingly cute, I think anyone who disagrees was dropped multiple times as a baby (or recently) upon the head. Marty, when you can prove how much better you are than the people you flame, then you will have the right to flame. If you know where I got those lines from, good for you, if not, you need to read more. Skysong, you have a great talent, embrace and expand upon it and enjoy it. Don't let people put you down. | |
| 19 Mar 2004 | Caroline Kerstens | Aww, lookit them fly! 8D I adore your colouring skills, keep up the good work.
Martso: *eye roll* Get a life, man. I've seen you flaming an absolutely beautiful, realistic and perfectly shaded pic also. "Grumpy Dragon", does that ring a bell? It should, and you should be sued for acting under the name of Todd Lockwood, the D&D artist. C'mon, Warty, show us YOUR oh-so perfect art. Show us what you're made of. And if your art isn't as gorgeous as the pictures you flame, shut the H3ll up.
I'll stop ranting now. | |
| 1 Sep 2006 | Rosethorn | No clue what Marty's problem is. Good luck with the anger problem.
Anywho! I really enjoy looking at these pages that don't have backgrounds, but are so full of color. They look like awesome references. My favourite part about them is that each creature has an action or emotion connected to it. I just HAD to write a comment for one of the "dragonets" though because they're so expressive! Definitely a favourite! Keep up the great work! And no offense meant, but I don't really see the whole "cute" thing.

| 23 Mar 2007 | SkyDragon | To Marty: SHE'S AN ARTIST IN A FANTASY?SCIENCE FICTION ART SECTION!!!!!!!!!! You want real? GO TO ANOTHER SITE< DUFUS!!!!!!!!!! To Lindsay: Great work, I love your little cute fuzzies and dragons. You have artistic license to draw anything that you want to, and you make cute drawings that fit into the category. If they didn't fit, then I would understand the flaming. However, your drawings are very good, and I like them. Don't delete, please!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!!!!! Behind you all the way! ~Sky <3 | |
