SciFi and Fantasy Art: Starchaser II

I wasn't completely satisfied with the last pic I did of Ellorynn so I decided to draw another, this time I did a partial trace of a real model from a magazine I found. I think this is an improvement over my last pic don't you? I also took some advance from Nancy in Gal 45 and studied the work of Jose of Jose from Gal 3 when it came to drawing the cloak, and I am pleased with how it turned out, though I'm not really satisfied with the pants, or the hands, or the auras, I am pleased with how the rest of it turned out so what do you think?

Actually now that I think of it they bottom half of the cloak could use a few improvements but I still am pleased at how the top half turned out....

Really? I wasn't to crazy about how the pants turned out, the cloak I thought was great but the pants I thought could use some improvements, could just be the pose that is akward I guess.

You did a great job of the cape. A vast improvement. Overall the pic is quite good. Why is the sword so fuzzy though?

Well the sword was suppose to be this flaming sorta blade of energy but I guess I just didn't pull it off to well.

Isn't the cloak great?Hehehe! Thanks for mentioning me, and glad to be of help.About the picture itself,i like the face, it has something that attracts me.Also, the volume of the chest is very well done.Just one thing more;don't you think it's strange the head position? She has her chest raised,so the head may fall back a little... Bah,don't worry, and keep that way!

I AM THE OVERMIND. I shall dictate whether this image is worthy of applause or not. IT ISN'T. Get a job.

Some people are such assfrigginholes. Nevermind him or rather it!!! The face on this sketch is perhaps your best so far. Although its not detailed it is proportioned. I would say that using the photo as a model helped. Please don't feel like that's against the rules or something. I used photommodels on 90% of my work and have for a very long time. The only way to draw real people is simply to draw them, rather from memory or from a reference the skills are all the same.
