SciFi and Fantasy Art: Griffin Hug

A man greedily took a cursed sword and turned into a griffin (same sword that appears in ‘Watchful Eye’, but not the same man). He was captured by the regal governor of a nearby land and ‘tamed’ to be a guardian for a young princess. No one ever loved him because he was so cruel and greedy, so just the hug she gives him here when she finally comes to trust him is enough to make him cry.

Pencil. Done in 2005, so it’s much worse than my new stuff.
