SciFi and Fantasy Art: Guidance

An angel guiding a ghost child to the other side where her soul can rest in peace. Used J.K.Rowling's approach to ghosts as transparent monotone beings. Didn't work out as well as I wanted it to, but at least I got some practice at layers and opacity. Perhaps I shouldn't have outlined it with fineliner first... anyway, enjoy.

Normally I like angels withd etailed feather wings, but this on elooks just as good with plain wings. The girl really does have a faded ghostly look. Elizabeth A. M. Burns replies: "I attempted to draw detail on the wings but it just didn't look right. Too cartoony for it to fit. And I'm glad the faded look worked, I spent a while figuring out the opacity.
