SciFi and Fantasy Art: Elf in a Tree

mmmm.... I started this as an anatomy exercise and then thought I'd try using the photoshop layer to create a 'mousseline' or transparent cloth effect. As a result some of my friends told me that A/ my elf had too much muscles to be honest and B/ that he looked Gay (several of these friends of mine them asked me for a copy of this pic for that reason !) I don't see why an elf would have to be 100% androgynous in his looks. And I find I like the idea of a Gay elf (not in Tolkien though). Comments welcome, I have been so busy asking myself these questions that I haven't pondered on the qualities and flaws of this pic. I hadn't touch a brush for years (yes, this is a disclaimer)
