| 2 Jun 1999 | Anon. | I like it!! I love crosses. It's very good, and not alot of work was put into it and that is what makes it so good! | |
| 2 Nov 1999 | Jenni Bravo | *looks at all tha loops and knots and gets rather dizzy* I'm envious. All I ever do when I try to draw this sort of stuff is give myself a headache. *g* | |
| 30 Nov 1999 | Jessie Beth Thornburg | I do love this one, Calvin. It's simple and beautiful. If you ever do another one (say for me), hmm... how about different colored stands? | |
| 2 Dec 1999 | David Reynolds | This is a very interesting statement on the relationship between religion and those who have used it as an excuse for warfare: whose only true origin is that of "armed robbery writ large." Bravo on the use of barbed wire as a material... although to be honest, I didn't see the correlation to Celtic crosses as being nearly as strong. Calvin Martin Stevens replies: "I've always apreaciated your thoughts David, but I have to dispell the arts seeming illusion. No barbed wire was harmed (or used) in this picure! A pencil. " | |
| 29 Dec 2000 | Pook | I very much enjoyed the simplicity of thise- an interesting design statement, though I'd really like to see this as a sculpture- or, better yet, a mobil! | |
