SciFi and Fantasy Art: Rainbow Ride

I only had the Rainbow and the girl on it in mind, I didn't know the background would turn out the way that it did. I think she's 'reaching for the stars,' just as I do when I dream. You know that they are eternal, and a rainbow is one of the most beautiful creations on earth. I tried to put them together. I don't like the girl very much, I didn't know how (and still don't) know how to shade at the time, and I didn't know how to do manga eyes either. She also reminds me of a cowgirl. Oh well, I tried. ;)

The way you colored it gives the image a real interesting texture- an almost cheery texture like the whole picture is alive...when I look at it makes me happy...cause like all the lines are alive! and moving! I must say the idea is very nice...yes, the girl's face could use a bit of work..but you don't always have to be a hundred percent accurate to get your feelings or emotions across. Often artist lose these things as they learn more techniques....keep up the good stuff! ps: I like the stars too! ^o^!
