| 27 Apr 2001 | Ana | I think you got it! The most of misticism gives that light. I like the colors too. | |

| 11 Jan 2002 | Ishvara | -sighs- Another person that needs a rundown on Hindu Mythology. What you drew might have been a 'Deva' (god, embodiment of anything whose existence is proven). And if he is considered the Water God, he would be called Varuna. The 'Vedas' are the oldest known treatises written in Sanskrit. Many people have memorized them and passed them on only by mouth, and that tradition has continued on and on for over 3500 years. For more inspiration on drawings of this nature, read up on some Hindu Mythology, and try to draw a picture of Rudra, for starters. If you like it, keep on reading. There's a ton of epics, like the Mahabharata, Ramayana, Shiva Puranas, etc. that are available in most libraries around the world, all with their own vivid imagery. -sighs- I turned this into another lecture. Ah, well, the detail with the ornaments, multiple arms, and hand gestures were all wonderful. I do wish to see more of this from everyone. It's a refreshing sight from all those D&D-inspired drawings. | |
