| 21 Oct 2001 | Doris 'Riana' Lettmann | The rendering of the figure is very good, I like the way the lines of the hatching forms her figure: it comes out very plastic. Well, her right arm and hand aren´t anatomical correct (perhaps you should ask someboy to pose in front of you, if you aren´t sure about proportions), but the left side, specially her left hand, is nearly perfect. And the background is very nice, too | |
| 30 Jan 2002 | Joe | Great figure. like dragon thingie behind her too | |
| 28 May 2002 | Darkmoon | ooooooh..... U read those too!!!! I am thrilled, I have yet to meet anyone who has even heard of Roger. I loved that series and I have been considering drawing all the "family" as much as it can be called that. You rule, I love your art, it's beautiful!!!! | |
| 1 Jul 2002 | Soulfire | I like the attitude you give her! The way her hip is thrust out, hand on that hip. She seems like a confident, sort of warrior women, who's being polite and letting you take a picture for her to autograph. *grins* Very cool. | |
| 6 Feb 2003 | Gerlinde Dereik | This is the only other Gerlinde in Elfwood and I'm so glad to have such great company! She's beautiful! And the detailing in her clothing is just breathtaking. I also really like the contrast between the details of Gerlinde (strange to write my own name to refer to someone else, it's the first time I ever had to do that) and the simple lines in the dragon. Great work! | |
| 10 Apr 2003 | CareBear | What age group is the series for? i might want to read it but I'm younger than some of the people hereI'd say young adult to adult - there's some sex in it, though it's not explicit, and there's some amount of violence. I think the older you are, the more likely you'll get Zelazny's references to classical literature, but the books read fine without understanding those (Speaking for myself, I read them when I was in 4th grade or so, and comprehended the plot just fine, then re-read them around 10th, at which point I understood more of the references to Keats and Shakespeare.) | |
| 21 May 2003 | Elfie <elfperson2 | I love Amber! I played the role playing game when I was 12 and got interested in reading the books. I think I read them sometime around then, though I can't remember. One of my favorite series up there along with LOTR (though that's my one true love of books.) Anyways, the drawing? It's great. Wish I could draw Princess Shena like that. She was my Amber char. Your char looks very much like a chaosite....with maybe even a little hint of Dara or Merlin in there? | |
| 1 Jul 2004 | Gerlinde Werdefroy | whiii, my name is Gerlinde to! Now I'm happy that such a pretty pic is carrying my name! ^.^ | |
| 22 Jul 2004 | Amber | You should read the Amber books--I recommend them to everyone. And this is a wonderful pic! | |
| 6 Jan 2005 | | I've actually read that series ages ago! Awesome picture, I love all the detail | |
