SciFi and Fantasy Art: Grendel and Grendel's Mother

Beowulf's Grendel and his tarn-hag mother are cookin' up some Danishes tonight!!! I always felt sorry for Grendel, not having a dad, and everybody hating him. Doesn't his mother look pleased? I chose to make Grendel look cute and boyish, complete with freckles. The June Cleaver pearls and kissy lipstick help to make up for Mrs. Grendel's National Geographic orangutan boobs. I think I'll show this to my English Lit Prof.

Thank you for your comment on my astro series. i havent really drawn yhe scorpio yet but i´m putting together some sketches in my head..havent really drawn a scorpion before or anything like that. I dont like crawly animals .) nor do i like toads. bluä. but I sure like your picture !! I really like that it has a frame. it kind of reminds me of a fable show I saw once. bye now
