SciFi and Fantasy Art: Icy Storm

WhiteRex in her feathery coat- just ready for winter! I have a different take on dinosaurs and I see them as warm blooded...so warmblooded dinos could use feathers to keep themselves insulated don't you think?

Thats great! I have a question though. How does she preen her feathers? If they get dirty than they won't keep her warm at all.

I have a similar theory as you on dinosaurs. They've found fossils showing the pits in dino bone marrow and how they are more widely spaced/larger as seen in warm blooded mammalian bones as compared to the tiny holes that can be seen in cold blooded reptillian bones...but why am I blabbing on about science...this is an awesome pic. Outstanding coloration as well...Love it!

I really like your art. Not to insult the pic or anything, but is he dying? If he isn't, I'm really sorry

Wow! She looks very comfy. I think there really used to be dinosaurs who had feathers and feathered wings. Archeoptrix was one of them. Very interesting. She looks so warm and comfy in her featheres. Nice.

Oh bull! I work with dino bones and im only 12! Raptors were believed to grow freathers but are you telling my a brachiosaurus is a bird?????! Most dino DNA dose NOT carry bird blood nore are their bones hollow or is there skin able to carry OR grow frathers! (Sorry i did this out rage from a commint. This is an awsome pic though."

ok, i agree with the elf chick that dinosaurs don't grow feathers, but she didnt have 2 go off her head like that. I reckon its a great pic, even with my "conformist" views on prehistoric wildlife.
I admire that you are brave enough 2 break away from convention too - bravo!
anyway elven maid (snort giggle cough) dont dis someone else's point of view, and if you really must at least learn 2 spell the words you're using first.
