You can take a humanlike torso and glue it to any 4 footed animal if you want, but when you name it, please dont put "taur" at the end of the 4 footed animals name="wolf-taur""dwarf-taur". Thats just not creative at all. Centaur is different, the greeks didnt just say "hey lets call this legendary mythical beast 'horse-taur'!"
