| 15 Feb 2006 | Thomas H. Saxon | Loving the probing. I think there's something sketch about the description, but still ... "This is the probe" is madly classic.
The piece is incredible, though somewhat brought down by the wings. Its as though you spent huge time on the bod and the sword, and the roughed out the wings as an afterthought. They seem too small to support him (personal opinion - who knows what angels can and can't do), and seem to be unshaded as well, unlike the impeccably shaded rest of him.
And congrats on being an hourly feature. | |

biblically, angels, seraphim and cherubs are all androgynous in the way that they are made in 'his' image (meaning that no gender is specified - michael and gabriel were never given genders until the bible was jotted down by MEN).

And the wings look fine, just add some shading and move them a bit down in photoshop so that the look like they're coming out of his back and you've got yourself a finished pic. Sure, coloring would be nice, but a lot of people seem to forget that penciling is a style to, and gives it an older feel.
