I love him, especially the eye. It's piercing and haunting and stuff (and marvelously well shaded, to boot). It looks so natural and realistic (rrgh, I keep using the word natural... everywhere, i tell you!)

Great site, anxiously awaiting updates. So glad to have your talent in our area.

:-) Deanna Cathcart replies: "Thank you, I did figure out how you got here. You went strait to the links at the bottom of my homepage. If you would have clicked on the pictures there you would have made it to my personal galleries. If you want to try again it's http://pencil-n-paper.com "

Do you have any other dragon pictures that are not posted and would you be interested in selling any of them, possibly?

:-) Deanna Cathcart replies: "I have a few drawn but none painted, I could do them fairly quickly if I made them a priority. I could even do up a custom one, it would just depend what you wanted to pay and what rights to the image you wanted."

Great design and color choices. I really like the dragon's eye. The single tooth protruding on either side is nice little touch.

:-) Deanna Cathcart replies: "Thank you, i think it is done. I tried to do the whple dragon but after leaving it for so long I had a hard time getting back into it. So I used one of the sugestions above. You can see the finished results in my gallery."

Beautiful detail, concept. One suggestion, however: the tip of his snout seems to be turned a bit too much towards the viewer to fit along with the rest of his head seemlessly. Otherwise, it's great. ^_^

This is neat because you've done well with keeping to the original shading.. keeping that feel for the surface and shadows. I like the original graphite drawing more just because I like graphite more and you have -Beautiful- skill with it, but I love that choice of blue here, and the eye.. and just the style and design of the head.

Still cool scales, the color gives it depth
