SciFi and Fantasy Art: Children of the Sea Serpent

An older piece, done for a monthly character design contest for Aquatic gargoyles. I had written this legend along with my entry, about how this human woman tamed the angry Sea Serpent and they had children... here they are, two daughters and a son.

I like the idea of underwater gargoyles, never occured to me before, and you represent them very well. Beautiful coloring.

This is such an unusual concept, very imagination-provoking! I'm just learning to draw, but this is very inspirational to me. Thank you! 1

Wow, i'm very impressed with your abilities! The anatomy and poses are fantastic, but it's the translucent wings which really blow me away, you managed it so well!
