SciFi and Fantasy Art: Artemis

Orion, one of the NPC heroes in the RPG campaign Dolphin is a part of has young daughter. As his powers are mutagenic in origin, it made sense that his daughter might eventually develop powers of her own. Artemis is the hypothesized future version of his daughter. She has enhanced physical stats, the ability to telekinetically guide missiles, and an assortment of high tech gadgetry to balance out her innate abilities.

I really like this picture, except for her legs. She looks like she has to go to the bathroom or somthing. However, that is an _awesome_ bow. Excellent colouring and style.Thank you. I put a lot of work into the bow, I usually have trouble getting mechanical contrivances to look decent.

Her legs are...unnatural...they look pivoted 90 degrees at the knee...the rest of it is gorgeous.

This image is great but I think her legs need more definition. I can't really tell which leg is where and it makes that part of the pic. look unfinished.I'd have to agree with you there, the shading I used for her legs did not come out effectively at all.

Love the bow. 2
I know it's your style, but I'm d*mned if I know how she's managing to stand...Her knees are together and then...her feet are apart, pointing outwards. Physical impossibility. It kind of detracts from the overall effect. The leaning works, but the legs just...don't. Sorry. Also, I know other people have mentioned it, but her right hand is too big..the fingers, that is. It's especially noticeable since the hand is right next to the head and it's *bigger* than the head, where really it should be smaller.
I really like the detail, though. And I especially like the shading on her armor. Oh, and I really, really, like the bow. Yes I am redundant sometimes, but what are you gonna do?I like the bow too. All in all, I consider this one of the best costumes I've ever designed. The legs really aren't physically impossible, but the joint isn't drawn right and the shading leaves something to be desired. That said, my style has changed somewhat since I made this image and I think I've corrected most of the problems I ran into here (aside from the occasional bout of laziness 12 ).

Shading on the legs *like everyone eles has already said* should be more definged and her legs are very unreal and her fingers are too long

Your style is awesome ! I think her legs add to her being of mutanagenic origins, no matter what anybody else seems to think. Definately bookmarkable in my eyes ! Are you going to give her a background ? Please advise me if and when you do !

It's..ummmm. I'm sorry I just don't like this one. I've seen your other work ad it's very good. But this is just. I don't know I can't find anything about it to compliment.
