| 29 Mar 2001 | Phishy | yes, you did the sand very nicely but for some reason, it reminds me more of a harpy than a gryphon when it's in this background (maybe ffV trama....heehee) I personaly think a jungle background would be nice since he(she?)it tiger based but that could be complicated to do and i dont know what you are trying to portray for a personality or history. But just anything with green would probably work out very nicely (i just can't seem to imagine this gryphon in a desert...sorry! it's probably just me being weird again!) but i really like the gryphon overall, great definition! | |
| 16 Apr 2001 | Kat (TheDreamWolf) Nicholson | heey! Awesome colouring job! I can't wait till I have enough money for a tablette -_- I might have a go at drawing gryphons again sometime.. I used to loads... they're never as good as yours though Thank you. This is my third tablet, actually, and by far the best one I've owned. | |
| 5 Jul 2002 | Rajrr | Like the picture, but the head looks awfully cartoony, which contrasts with the rest of the body. And the wings don't look quite right - I think maybe they should be coming out further back, as opposed to so close to the neck? I'm no expert, tho. I like the colouring (except on the beak..it looks sort of strange. Sorry.) But overall I think it's okay. | |
| 10 Jul 2002 | Nicole Mariko Arnold | I agree with the last comment...the wings don't appear to be placed quite right - but they are still my favorite part of this picture! The texture and detail given to them somewhat over-runs the rest of the artwork... | |
