SciFi and Fantasy Art: Girl in Mists

(uploaded 06/24/02) The cover/splash page illustration for issue two of my online comic, Bookwyrms. The girl in the picture will be a new character for the comic and should make her official appearance sometime around mid-September. Until then, a couple of bits of eye-candy will be all I'm revealing about her.
For the picture, I returned to a cell-shading approach for the main figure and incorporated some of the attention to texture I've been using in my more recent works. The background is a touch CG heavy, but I'm slowly getting better at working more detail into a setting.
