SciFi and Fantasy Art: Illwyn

(uploaded 02/16/02) These two figures are a preliminary sketch for a character in a role-playing game I may be playing. Originally I had planned on dressing her all in blue, but I later decided she might look good with a bit more color and did the yellow variation. When I decided to upload her, I couldn't decide which I liked better, so you get both. One of the reasons I like the 'animation cell' style of coloring that I use is that it allows me a lot of latitude in setting up color schemes.

Great job all around; the pose is good, and the way you did the mail is simply awesome. I think the area that could use a little work might be the hips. They are strait-on and level now, but I think they ought to be angled considering where she has her legs. Hope you have success with this character

I really like her hair style and armor as well. Color-wise, I personally like the blue outfit. Seems to match the armor and hair a bit more imho. Anyhoo, I'm gonna give drawing her a whirl! Can't wait to see her in the game =)
