From some of the surfers I’ve seen, he wouldn’t be too out of place on the beach. LOL. Seriously, I like this one. You did an awesome job. I’ll be looking for this one on the Mod’s Choices tomorrow.

......I am never going to the beach again..........

:-) Cheryl Nekomata Hylin replies: "Aww..., All y’d hafta do is ask if he’d ever surfed Pipe or Mavericks or some such, and your only casuality woud be your ear... ’cause he’d talk it off. You wouldn’t be in any danger, unless you said your California or Hawaii made board was better than his S. African made H&H Sunfish."

Really? That’s a relief........
I would never diss his board! That’s one sweet hand-made piece of polished wood. Maybe he can help me on my epic quest to find a worthy piece of artwork to put in my gallery. Or a scanner. That would be wierd, to find a random working scanner in the middle of the ocean while hanging ten. Or nine. I dont know surf lingo. But he is a great drawing! I could never get that face right! Mine always ends up like a german shepards face.......all pointy and stuff......................

:-) Cheryl Nekomata Hylin replies: "You pegged the very thing that gave me fits. I have page after page of head studies and other drawings of various brown hyenas to get the ear shape, muzzle legth and markings down. It took ages to get the right, non-doggy look, and still make it "fit" the human shoulders."

Aw, this didn’t get a Mod’s? Boooo! I would have given it one.

:-) Cheryl Nekomata Hylin replies: "Thanks, I guess I’ll just hafta work harder...."
