SciFi and Fantasy Art: Poster-type thingie...sorta. (In progress)

Well, I just started doodling in class the other day (Dontcha just love calculus?) and started coming up with this. Much more to do on it - I gotta shade the entire right side, and I'm gonna be filling the blank spaces with...something. Dunno what yet. o.0

*lol* In response to Trevor, calculus is a form of higher math. Y'know, the kind with more letters and symbols than numbers. *shudders* Evil, evil math!

As to the pic, beautiful! The people have so much character. It needs a name...*thinks hard* ...Maybe I'll get back to you on that.

God thank you. I needed a picture like this. Very very enigmatic.

WAY to many words in my head. And I'm not just talkin' vocabluary, though any good writer has one.I am what you could call an Incubator in the varieties of writers.I have to contemplate the basic plot line, organize, file away the random bits, sand it down, smooth over the rough edges,re-organize,go over the whole proicess again, add some more to the middle, maybe a few lines to the end...all in my mind. Then sit down and write it from beginning to end.Which is what I did for this picture.I know,I'm demented, and very very odd.But I thought you should know when a fanatical pre-teen starts writing short stories that are beginning to look like novella's about your pictures. You can tell me to burn it if you like, which is why I provide my Email just now. So,there you are.

You know,actually...I thinkit looks fine the way it is.The contrast between the light side (unshaded) and the dark side (shaded) are remarkable.Perhaps it's simply becaus ethat's what I'm looking for,and therefore, that;s what I'm seeing, but it seems to have a good side/bad side comparison.*blinks, stops babbling,as she's not an artist, and thus cannot say a thing about it besides rambling thoughts*

What can I say?I'm a writer.I look for this stuff.Stero-typical,maybe,but with development...well,great pictures make for great stories. And even the steriotypes can be adjusted to become unique.*shrugs*But don't listen to the 12 year old writer.I'm just an amateur with high ideas, and too many words in my head.

I totally agree with Alena, it IS the contrast between light and dark that makes it interesting. Not to mention the attention to detail. Keep up the good work man.
